Jazz re:freshed has been around since 2003, and from the very beginning to the present day, we have witnessed the dopest live music at our weekly sessions from the most incredible musicians. Throughout that time, we have also listened to an array of the highest quality releases, many of which we believe, never got the exposure or recognition they truly deserved.
So, we thought it would be a good idea to revisit the releases that we believe might have slipped between the cracks or are not currently available digitally. Hence… the RE:ISSUED series.
Kicking off the RE:ISSUED series is Samadhi Quintet - led by drummer and composer Sam Gardner, the group released their debut album ‘The Dance of Venus‘ in Autumn 2014. The album combines the rhythms of Indian and Latin American music, with the beats of Hip Hop and the language of Jazz to create a truly unique sound - which is still dope today.
We have picked out 5 of the tracks that we think you will love. …listen and enjoy.

They all seem to have fun playing together and playing Sarah's songs. The best thing about it, it's fun to listen too. And amazing to explore the different sounding keys as much as the musical twists included by all of them. freejazzy
